Cypress Post comes from vines nurtured on granite gravels west of Stanthorpe at an altitude of 800 m on the Granite Belt of Queensland. The vineyard lies adjacent to the Broadwater -a major tributary of the Severn River catchment within the upper reaches of the Murray-Darling Basin.
